As well as endorsing the annual accounts and financial statements, and appointing auditors for next year, this meeting will also be an opportunity to hear more about the impact of the ACU’s work, our priorities for the next year, and how your university can engage with our network on a range of themes and initiatives.
Speakers
We will hear from the following speakers at the AGM:
- Dr Therina Theron is Senior Director of Research and Innovation at Stellenbosch University, South Africa; as well as Co-Chair of the ACU Supporting Research Community Steering Committee. Dr Theron will talk about the ACU Equitable Research Partnerships Toolkit.
- Dr Arifa Ghani Rahman, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English and Humanities at the University of Liberal Arts, Bangladesh. Dr Rahman will share her experience of being awarded an ACU Gender Grant.
- Dr Nosheen Nazir is Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Medical College, Aga Khan University, Pakistan. Dr Nazir will talk about the Early Career Researcher Training Grant she received in 2022.
