Programme Evaluation: Request for Proposals

The Partnership for Enhanced and Blended Learning programme is seeking a consultancy team to conduct a final evaluation.

We are seeking a consultancy team to conduct the final evaluation of the Partnership for Enhanced and Blended Learning (PEBL) project, which started in September 2017 with funding from the UK Department for International Development (DFID)'s Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education Innovation and Reform (SPHEIR) programme and is led by the ACU.

PEBL supports the educational development capacity of academics across 24 East African universities by providing training on pedagogy, quality assurance and technological platforms. PEBL also enhances regional collaboration and teaching quality by enabling the sharing of quality-assured, credit-bearing blended modules between universities in the region. PEBL has enabled participating universities to expand the range of courses offered to students enrolled in taught undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and embed innovations in teaching and learning.

The evaluation will capture the essential learning from this impactful programme and inform the design of future initiatives.

Applications close: 15 September 2020

Duration of final evaluation (including an inception phase): 15 October 2020 – 30 May 2021.
