King's Commonwealth Fellowship Programme Evening Reception

Thank you for coming to our reception on Tuesday 10 March celebrating the King’s Commonwealth Fellowship Programme (KCFP). We are delighted you took the time to join us and meet the first KCFP Fellows: they embody all that this programme aims to achieve for SIDS and for the Commonwealth. This is at the heart of the ACU’s longstanding commitment to building a better world through international collaboration in higher education. We will share photos from the event with all our guests in a few days’ time, as a reminder of the occasion.

Next steps

We hope that you share our Fellows’ enthusiasm and ambition for improving climate resilience, and would now like to know more. We are seeking partners with vision who can add value in a variety of ways to help this exciting programme grow. Ideally, partners will be able to act at scale and with urgency, to match His Majesty’s ambitions for this important work.

To refresh your memory of the Programme itself, please visit its webpage here.

If you would like to discuss your institution’s becoming an academic part of the KCFP, then we encourage you to have an informal discussion with Professor Colin Riordan, Secretary General and Chief Executive of the ACU. He can be reached via his personal assistant on julie.bennett@acu.ac.uk.

If you are interested in learning more about supporting the KCFP with funding or sector expertise, then we encourage you to have an exploratory discussion with Dr Elisabeth Wadge, Head of Philanthropy at the ACU. She can be reached on elisabeth.wadge@acu.ac.uk.

Thank you again for your interest in the ACU’s work, which harnesses the power of Commonwealth higher education to tackle some of the world’s greatest challenges. We look forward to sharing our progress with you, and to the possibility of working together to shape a brighter future.
