Privacy statement

The information and images you provide – not including any sections marked confidential – may be used on ACU communications channels, including external and internal websites, social media accounts, publications and presentations / shared with your home university / shared with your host university / shared with trusted third parties.  The ACU may also follow up with you to ask for further details. All data will be processed in accordance to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Image guidelines for universities

Subject matter 

  • Photos of your university campus and/or students around the campus  

Specs  

  • Ideally, photos should be landscape and high res (minimum size – 1748 x 2480 pixels). 

  • Please send us the files via WeTransfer, Drop Box or Google Drive. 

  • Please do not send us any photos that feature children under the age of 18. 

  • Please note, we may use these images across the ACU’s communications channels, including (but not limited to) external and internal websites, social media accounts, publications, and presentations. Please ensure you gain consent from the individuals being captured before sending to us, and that they understand how the photos may be used.  

Image guidelines for students 

Subject matter 

Please send us 3 - 5 images that encapsulate your scholarship experience, these could include: 

  • Photos of yourself – this can be with other students or individually, and can be candid or posed, though we encourage ‘in-action’ images, for example photos of yourself involved in projects.  

  • Images that show your subject of study/research in action.   

Specs  

  • The photos should be landscape and preferably high res (minimum size – 1748 x 2480 pixels). 

  • Please send us the RAW photo files via WeTransfer, Drop Box or Google Drive. 

  • Please do not send us any photos that feature children under the age of 18. 

  • Please note, we may use these images across the ACU’s communications channels, including (but not limited to) external and internal websites, social media accounts, publications, and presentations. Please ensure you gain consent from the individuals being captured before sending to us, and that they understand how the photos may be used.
