Silhouette Of A Hiker At Dusk By S Migaj

Sustainable Development Goal 15 recognizes that 'flourishing life on land is the foundation for our life on the planet'. We are not separate from the ecosystems that nourish us - the health of our planet is vital for our survival.

Every day, researchers around the world are unearthing new knowledge about the wonders of our natural world and drawing insights from traditional wisdoms, helping us better understand how to responsibly steward our planet for generations to come.

We never stop marveling at the beauty of the ocean and its immense size, or the marvelous, woodsy fragrance of a forest. The splendor and the beauty of nature can be breathtaking and awe-inspiring, and it often shapes our social and cultural understandings of the natural world."
