We are seeking expressions of interest from members interested in speaking at NMIMS university’s conference, co-organised with the ACU. Taking place 2-3 September, this international conference will explore various aspects of STEM education. We are looking for speakers for various panels and tracks of the conference, including Multidisciplinarity in STEM Education; STEM Education and Climate Change; Use of Science Fiction for Informal Learning and Learning Analytics in STEM Education. The panellists are expected to participate and deliberate on the main theme of the panel.
Various tracks of the conference include Teacher Perception about Technology Integration in STEM Curriculum; Use of Artificial Intelligence in STEM Learning; Building Soul Education - Slow, Online, Ubiquitous Learning (SOUL), Narrative Tools for System Engineering; Bio-Medical Practical Skills through Novel Virtual Laboratories; Scientific Empathy in STEM Higher Education; Augmented Reality for STEM Learning; Effect of Visual Programming tools on Computational Thinking. Computational Thinking across the Curriculum and Building Digital Workforce Skills in STEM Classroom. The track speakers can chair the sessions, present their research and expertise during the conference.
The conference will be held on a virtual platform with sessions planned as per Indian time zones. The speakers can send their expressions of interest along with a one-page CV to email@example.com, addressed to the Conference Chair Professor (Dr) Tapan Panda, Director, NMIMS Hyderabad by 30 July 2021.
The conference secretariat is open to receiving applications from individual academics with relevant expertise. The speakers will be recognized on the conference website, during the conference with citations and due mention in conference proceedings.
