Universities of the Future: Global Perspectives for HR

University of Waterloo, Canada, 23 - 26 September 2018

The ACU, in conjunction with the University of Waterloo, will be hosting the 8th biennial ACU HR in HE Community Conference in Ontario, Canada, from Sunday 23 until Wednesday 26 September 2018.

The theme of the conference will be 'Universities of the Future: Global Perspectives for HR'. As a leader in innovation, the University of Waterloo is the perfect setting to explore and work together on meeting the challenges and exploring the opportunities of the future for HR in higher education.

The conference programme will include expert keynote speakers, presentations, workshops, and a tour of the University of Waterloo, including their Velocity Centers. Velocity is a leading entrepreneurship programme and the largest free start-up incubator in the world. There will also be an optional sightseeing tour on Thursday 27 September.

Keynote speakers

This international conference will provide a unique opportunity for HR professionals and people managers at all levels from around the world to discuss issues that specifically relate to human resources management in higher education. The conference will profile best practice, facilitate the exchange of ideas, and provide excellent opportunities for professional development and networking.

Call for proposals

The call for proposals for presentations, workshops and poster sessions is open until Monday 16 April 2018.
