Reports and Surveys

The research carried out by the ACU builds on its position at the heart of a global network of universities and its useful vantage point for analysing developments in the international higher education sector. The ACU is particularly well-placed to undertake surveys and comparative analysis of institutional trends drawing on the experience of its member institutions and their national contexts. The professional networks of the ACU can also provide an incisive operational perspective on institutional and sector-wide developments.

Recent reports published by the ACU have covered areas such as the challenges and opportunities facing institutions in the Commonwealth, libraries and information management, gender equity and research management.

Academic Staff Salary survey series
The ACU  has undertaken surveys of academic salary scales and associated benefits since 1997.The surveys are conducted on a 2-3 year cycle. Click here to access copies of the survey reports from 1998-99.
