Graduate Employment Network

The ACU has recently launched a new network to encourage university careers and alumni officers around the Commonwealth to share ideas about how best to prepare students for the job market. For countries to compete effectively in an increasingly knowledge-driven and global economy, universities need to ensure that they are producing graduates who are employable, innovative and in possession of skills which are relevant to national and international needs.

The Graduate Employment Network aims to provide an interface between education and employment, enabling careers personnel to discuss best practice in the light of current realities such as the economic recession, global employment markets and the prominence of digital communications technologies.
