Community-University Engagement in 2030: A Scenario (October 2011)
This is the second global statement by the "Big Tent" group of international community university research and engagement networks.
This statement has been facilitated by the PASCAL International Observatory and the Global Alliance on Community Engaged Research, in collaboration with: the Asia Pacific University Community Engagement Network, Centro Boliviano de Estudios Multidisciplinarios, Global Universities Network for Innovation, Living Knowledge Network, National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement in Higher Education, Participatory Research in Asia, the Talloires Network and the Association of Commonwealth Universities Extension Network.
Enhancing North-South Cooperation in Community-University Engagement (September 2010)
The Global Alliance on Community-Engaged Research (GACER) is an international grouping of community engagement networks, including the ACU's University Extension Network. GACER also includes the Tailloires Network, Global Universities Network for Innovation (GUNI), the Living Knowledge Network, Participatory Research in Asia, and is led by representatives from the University of Victoria (Canada), Universiti Sains Malaysia, and the Institute of Education (UK).
GACER convened on 23 September 2010 at the Institute of Education in London, and drafted a joint communiqué expressing the group's shared support for university-community engagement, the need for universities to play a full role in addressing development challenegs, and the need for north-south cooperation in this field.

Lessons Learned from Knowledge Mobilisation: Turning Research into Action (June 2009)
Drs. David Phipps and Michael Johnny from York University in Canada, and Daniele Zanotti from the United Way of York Region, authored this article for the June 2009 edition of Research Global, the flagship magazine of the Global Research Management Network. Extension Work and the Dissemination of Research Outputs (October 2008)
Dr. John Kirkland and Liam Roberts of the ACU authored this good practice guide, Extension Work and the Dissemination of Research Outputs, as part of a series of guides produced for the West African Research and Innovation Management Association (WARIMA).
This guide presents the results from an extensive survey of extension professionals from across the ACU membership, and analyses some of the trends between institutions regarding their policy research and community engagement policy frameworks and support structures.
