Fellowships and Staff Mobility

The ACU seeks to promote staff mobility and to assist in institutional capacity building at its member universities, though its Development Fellowships Fund, as well as through adminstering awards for other bodies.

ACU Titular Fellowships

The ACU Titular Fellowships provide opportunities for staff from member universities and employees working in industry, commerce or public service in a Commonwealth country to spend periods of time at other member universities or relevant institutions outside their own country. Canada Memorial Foundation Scholarships

These scholarships, for postgraduate (not doctoral) study at any university in Canada, are intended for persons of high academic promise and leadership potential who will play a full part in the life of the Canadian community which they visit and who will return to contribute fully to UK society. The closing date for applications for 2012 scholarships is 25 November 2011. More details

Edward Boyle Memorial Trust Medical Elective Bursaries

The Edward Boyle Memorial Trust offers Medical Elective Bursaries for senior medical students from UK medical faculties/schools, to assist them to spend their elective period in a developing country within the Commonwealth. The 2011 round of applications is now closed. More details

Please note that, from 2011 onwards, the ACU is longer offering British Academy/ACU Grants for International Collaboration or ACU/University of Westminster/ International Student House Scholarships in Human Resource Management, Public Relations, and Business and Management.
