Meeting Rooms

The ACU is pleased to offer a fully equipped conference suite for hire at its premises in Woburn House, in the heart of Bloomsbury, London. The suite is available for both members and for corporate hire – member institutions are eligible for a discounted rate.

Woburn House is conveniently positioned off Tavistock Square for conference delegates from all over the UK and overseas. It is a short distance from Euston, King's Cross and St. Pancras International railway stations. Local underground stations and bus routes provide easy access to other London rail terminals and to Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

The conference suite is situated on the fourth floor of the building, which has elevator access. The main conference room – Commonwealth Room 1 – measures 12m x 7m and accommodates up to 60 delegates theatre-style, or 30 boardroom-style. Adjacent is a smaller meeting room – Commonwealth Room 2 – measuring 6m x 4m, which can be hired separately or used as a breakout room for meetings held in the conference room. It is ideally suited for 12 people boardroom-style.

A full range of audio-visual equipment is available, including flipcharts, overhead projector, and multimedia projector. Photocopying and fax facilities are also available.
