Over the five years of DelPHE's call for applications, the ACU played a brokering and mentoring role, as well as disseminating project outcomes. One of our principal aims has been to support South-South applications to DelPHE, through helping partners to find each other, and to advise on application processes and on draft applications.
The principal objective of the DelPHE programme is to support higher education partnerships in addressing specific development challenges. To succeed in this objective, DelPHE project outputs need to be effectively communicated to local communities, and knowledge needs to be shared with other stakeholders involved in the development process.
The ACU supports this through its University Extension Network, a community of university staff involved with extension, knowledge mobilisation, and community engagement activity. The network, comprising over 500 individual members, features a regular e-newsletter, Interact, which highlights DelPHE projects that are making a difference.

The ACU has led on a number of seminars and workshops that provide project management training, DelPHE application advice, and feature presentations by existing DelPHE project leaders.
