Call for Applications: DelPHE Round 5

The Development Partnerships in Higher Education (DelPHE) programme launched its fifth call for applications in September 2009. Deadlines for Round 5 have now passed.

Round 5 was the final round under the current DelPHE scheme, as all allocated funding is dedicated to existing projects, and will expire in 2013. We are currently undertaking a review of the DelPHE scheme, with more information to follow in due course.

Evaluation Process

All applications to the scheme were initially reviewed by the national British Council office in the country of submission, and were pre-evaluated by subject advisors and country advisors. Shortlisted applications were those which sufficiently addressed project goals, demonstrated effective institutional capacity building, and clearly focused on Millennium Development Goals. Shortlisted applications were then forwarded to the DelPHE Selection Committee in the United Kingdom.
